WPCV Wafer Poppet Check Valve
The WPCV is a wafer style non-return valve used to allow fluid to flow in only one direction whilst preventing flow in the other. This is accomplished by utilising a Hastelloy spring pushing a PTFE poppet against a machined seat. Fluid flows through the valve pushing open the poppet and freely flowing through the valve. On reverse of flow direction the poppet is forced into the seat, sealing the valve and preventing flow.

The WPCV is manufactured from a machined stainless steel body with a PFA lining. The design elevates common failings of solid PTFE valves as it is crush resistant and by utilising a floating poppet ensures that the valve cannot be left jammed open which can affect the guided piston type check valve. The WPCV is extremely robust and can be easily disassemble on site for inspection and cleaning. All wetted parts are PTFE, PFA and Hastelloy. The spring assisted poppet ensures that it can be widely used in both vertical and horizontal pipelines.
