Pressure Vessels
Charles Thompson has the capability to manufacture pressure vessels up to 38m long, up to 6m wide and weighing up to 120 tonnes (see complete specification below).
Our pressure vessel division (which incorporates our heat exchange division), with more than 1,500 years of combined experience, is housed in a 51,000-square foot facility, operating on two three-acre sites.

Materials, Methods and Technologies
Charles Thompson has particular experience in corrosion resistant metals and alloy fabrication; we also boast one of the UK’s largest purpose-built clean rooms. In addition, our process plant equipment team is highly skilled in cladding methods and technologies, offering high pressure and sour service applications; plus vast experience in the mechanical design of coil type and shell & tube heat exchangers for optimum use in even the most demanding environments.
