CRP Reactor Sampler
OVERVIEW
The customer was a highly successful multinational company engaged in the
manufacture of healthcare and pharmaceutical products.
As with all pharmaceutical manufacturing plants, reactors lie at the heart of the API process.
Reactor sampling systems are critical to monitoring batch quality and progress and the design must be such that they are safe to use, easy to clean and take representative samples every time.
Reactor Top Sampling Systems must achieve the following basic criteria:
- The first sample taken must be representative.
- The Sampling system must Operator friendly.
- Safety is paramount.
- Every sampling system must be easily cleanable having no dead-leg areas.
Prior to contacting CPI Technology, the customer was experiencing difficulties with the installed sampling systems which were proving difficult and complex to use by the plant operators.
They were unable to take representative samples due to the numerous dead legs, and furthermore were extremely difficult to clean.
CPI Technology worked closely with the Engineering and Productions teams to completely understand all requirements and after a complete design review we successfully supplied and installed numerous sampling systems that are meeting and exceeding client expectations.
